 Trinity Learn & Play
offers a safe, caring environment for
children ages 2, 3 and 4 to develop readiness skills,
social integration, and a sense of community. The
goal of Learn & Play is to make learning fun within
a Christian environment.
Through the use of centers, students learn:
- Language Arts: letter recognition, alphabet,
beginning phonics, rhyming, matching, and
classifications.

Mathematics: counting, ordering, number
recognition, and 1 to 1 correspondence.
- Handwriting: pencil grip, letter formation, letter
size and spacing.
- Reading: exploring books, listening skills, letter
and picture recognition.

Motor Skills: finger isolation, balance, fine and
gross motor muscle development.
- Thematic Units: Students will explore the world
around them through weekly units of study and play.

 Musikgarten: Children will explore the world of
music through the Musikgarten enrichment curriculum
led by Mark Chaney, Organist and Choir Master.
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: Children deepen their relationship
with God through Christ in the image of the Good
Shepherd.
- Young Artists at Work: Children will learn to
express creativity through thematic art activities
using a variety of media.
Program Information

Trinity Learn & Play offers children an opportunity to
explore within a Christian environment. Learn & Play
program hours are 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays. Enrollment is open to
children ages 2, 3 and 4. The class size is limited
to twelve children with two teachers to serve the
needs of your child. Snacks are provided for each
child daily. Monthly fees are $165.00 per child.
Learn & Play follows the Horry County School District
calendar.

 The staff of Trinity Learn & Play is dedicated to
providing a safe caring environment for your child to
grow, learn and play. Director Linda Dehmer has years of teaching experience.
Classroom teacher Lisa Gimino is the Nursery Director
at Trinity Episcopal Church. Mrs. Gimino is dedicated to the growth and
well being of children. We also have an assistant to
Mrs. Gimino, Stephanie Mortimore. Melanie
Humphries is the assistant to Mrs. Dehmer.
Our goal is to provide a stimulating and Christian
environment that will both nurture and prepare your
child for success in the years to come.
