Sandra Mercavich; Parish Administrator

I am a native of Charleston, SC, but I have lived
in New York City, Columbus, OH, Lumberton, NC and
Cleveland, OH. My husband and I moved with our
two children to Myrtle Beach in 1994 when he
accepted a teaching position with Horry County
Schools. I have had experience as a teacher, as a
Bursar with a private prep school in Manhattan and
as Executive Director of the Horry Cultural Arts
Council where I learned that keeping a nonprofit
organization in good order is something for which
I have a passion. I love knowing that I am helping
others to minister to our parish and that I can be
of service to those who need assistance. |

My husband and I moved here from New Orleans in
1998. I am originally from Mobile, Alabama where
I worked as a Billing & Insurance Clerk at a local
dentist office, and as a Lending & Collections
Administrator for a nationwide financial
institution. We have one daughter who keeps me
very busy when I am not at work. I am very
passionate about helping others and keeping them
informed of all the events that are scheduled at
the church through the monthly newsletter,
Trinity Tidings, bulletins, Parish News,
and the website. I love the Lord and working in
His house. I have a personal sense of
accomplishment when I am able to assist
Parishioners and visitors. |

Kristi Burch;
Children's Ministries Director - I am a
native to Myrtle Beach and grew up at Saint
Stephen’s in North Myrtle Beach. My husband Colin
and I have been at Trinity since 2003. We have 3
daughters: Maggie, Audrey, and Sadie. Maggie was
in the original class at Trinity’s Learn and
Play. I became involved with children’s
ministries in 2005 as the Sunday school teacher
for the 4th and 5th
graders. Since then I have completed training for
Catechesis of The Good Shepherd’s Level One and
Level Two Atria. I deeply appreciate the manner
in which The Good Shepherd leads children to a
relationship with Jesus. I am half of the children’s
ministries team. My primary focus is to oversee
the Sunday School classes for children. For
children ages 3 to 3rd grade we use the
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Our 4th
and 5th graders are using the Mustard
Seed curriculum. |
